Support us using the Easyfundraising scheme

-Last Year we completed one of our long term goals which was the installation of tables and benches to form an Educational Space and be used as a picnic area and seating for organised events or informal parties.

The funding for this project was granted by "Neighbourhoods in Warrington"  and the tables/benches were made by the Walton Lea Project Team.

- The pathways around the green are now 17 years old and in the next few years need renovating.  We need to find funding for this work to be done.

- A redesign / upgrade of the 'Maze' area.

Many thanks to Bob Jennings who planted the apple trees We had a good crop in 2016. We've added more fruit trees kindly donated by the Mersey Forest and are looking forward to future crops.

We were really pleased to be chosen as one of the 3 local Community Projects  who will benefit from the COOP Community Fund. This funding will enable us to redesign / upgrade the 'Maze' area.  Something local children are so looking forward to!

DOGS must be kept under adequate control at all times and not cause nuisance or danger.

Spring Day 2017

Was held as planned on Sat 29th April. We were lucky this year to get fine weather to work in.

Volunteers worked hard and cleared tree guards from a large area of woodland, after which they enjoyed tea and cakes and discussed progress and future projects. Some good ideas and plenty

            of enthusiasm!

  A very enjoyable morning!

You will have noticed that some trees have been felled and the remains are lying in areas alongside the brook -these will be removed or used for seating or wildlife habitats.

In the meantime please continue to keep clear of these areas. Thank-you.
