Many thanks to Bob Jennings who planted the apple trees We had a good crop in 2016. We've added more fruit trees kindly donated by the Mersey Forest and are looking forward to future crops.

The Lumb Brook Millennium Green is run entirely by volunteers from the local community. We are looking for more volunteers to help with small maintenance jobs, organising activities and fundraising.

This funding was given to enable us to redesign / upgrade the 'Maze' area. Something local children are so looking forward to!

  You will have noticed that some trees have been felled and the remains are lying in areas alongside the brook -these will be removed or used for seating or wildlife habitats.

We were really pleased to be chosen as one of the 3 local Community Projects  who will benefit from the COOP Community Fund.



Warrington Borough Council

for improvements to the blue bridge entrance.

WBC will also be renovating the blue bridge.

Our volunteers will be adding some colour by planting bulbs and flowers in the circle around the tree.
